POBA Updates

POBA has successfully been deployed to Polygon blockchain mainnet where we intend to run POBA application into production. Developer troubleshooting and rigorous testing are being performed to ensure a bullet proof verification and distribution protocol.

Many merchants, vendors, software developers, crypto fans, artist, brokers, testing centers and more have been contacting POBA with great interest in integrating POBA into their existing platforms. For the past couple weeks we have been building new Chainlink adapters to accommodate various inventory/eCommerce platform on-chain/off-chain communication.

POBA app will be utilizing FourSwords decentralized independent oracle network for our off-chain data fulfillment requirements. To start, 4 FourSwords Chainlink oracles deployed on Polygon network will join a service agreement to fulfill POBA data request. Each request made from POBA to FourSwords oracle network will use Chainlink VRF protocol to randomize data request thus preventing pattern detection scripts and increase overall customer security.

POBA integrations will be deployed in various, highly customizable user managed subscription based packages. POBA subscriptions can be prepaid by subscriber, billed monthly or data usage fees can be collected by subscriber customers.

POBA subscribers with high-value or extremely limited edition goods are encouraged to configure multi-point verification checks. By default POBA only makes one oracle call to merchant store where product was purchased to confirm and verify authenticity. With multi-point verification, POBA can make multiple unique API calls for verification .

Example. A luxury POBA tagged designer purse has been sold to Customer A. Customer A is the original owner of the purse and is responsible for verification and claiming of POBA product NFT. Since POBA nft tokens are not pre-minted and are minted in real time a verification process is required before authorizing token creation.

Customer A will enter their order ID # or specialized product serial code. For this example the luxury purse purchased will contain a hard encoded unique serialized identifier permanently fashioned into the inner purse fabric. Once customer A enters their purse serial number that number is then sent to the original store where purse was purchased to confirm serial number is valid. To provide additional verification a secondary API call follows to the regional distribution center to confirm product serial code and correct store sold product. After these two API verification checks return valid response a final and third API call is made to the purse manufacturer global master inventory to verify product serial number , confirm correct distribution center and transaction sale at local retail location. After all three verification checks are passed the product serial number is minted to a POBA nft and instantly sent to users wallet.

These multi-verification pre-mint authorizations ensures only authorized users and products are being assigned POBA nft tokens. The same multi step verification process used to authenticate POBA claim request can be used for tracking the origins and logistics of manufactured goods as well.
